Zirconia Crown

Early tooth decay, weakening and fracturing are the most common teeth-related problems and every problem has its own solution. Similarly, some solutions to this problem include fillings, crowns, implants, bridges, and dentures. Among all of these solutions, the dental crown system seems to be very popular among people. A dental crown is a popular temporary […]

Full Metal Crown

Full metal crowns are one of the most popular crowns on the market. This type of metal crown is made of several types of metal, such as gold, palladium, nickel and chrome. The metal crown provides a complete crown covering all axial surfaces of the tooth and is one of the most commonly shown posterior crown restorations.

It is most preferred by people who can use it as a single unit without worrying about the appearance of the metal. Metal crowns are extremely durable as they rarely chip or break, and only a small amount to hold the core for maximum strength and retention over other types of crowns. All you have to do is prepare your teeth. They can withstand biting and biting forces.

Implant

Dental implants are a procedure that uses titanium struts and artificial teeth to replace missing or damaged teeth. It is an alternative to bridges and dentures because it lacks natural roots.

Dental implants are devices that support tooth replacement, such as crowns, dental bridges, and dentures. The concept of osseointegration involves using biological processes to create a bond between the bone and the titanium or zirconia material used in the implant. After this process is complete, the denture is attached to the implant. The dental implant is the foundation that supports the overlying abutment and crown.

Porcelain Fused to Metal

Porcelain fused to metal dental crown is one type of dental restoration. They are abbreviated as PFM. It covers a tooth and helps it to restore its size and shape, this type of crowning also protects it from further damage.this type of crowning uses a porcelain fused top with metal base. Porcelain fused to metal is a combined form of metal alloy and porcelain material. The metal alloy present in the crown aggregates the strength, making it able to endure the pressure which builds up while chewing.

The porcelain component ensures optimal effect and the crown is entitled to fit properly to give a natural tooth color. Now, porcelain fused to a metal crown has been suggested by most dentists to repair highly rotten or damaged teeth.

Orthodontics

A branch of dentistry which is known as orthodontics treats malocclusion, the condition of teeth that are not positioned correctly when the mouth is closed. And the one who deals with this branch is called an orthodontist.

The orthodontic treatment process isn`t a quick fix. There are several factors involved. This procedure involves the movement of teeth into a different position, which changes the jaw bone, facial bone, and soft tissue. First, the dentist will take a closer look at your teeth and mouth. Records such as x-rays, photographs, tooth models, etc. will help him decide how to proceed. Based on this information, orthodontists can create customized treatment plans.

Removable Restoration

Detachable/Removable restorations are commonly referred to as overdentures because they cover and hold the implant firmly. With removable restorations, these are equivalent to fixed implant support restorations, as a series of 46 dental implants hold them in place. Rods or other specialized devices are usually attached to these implants. Overdentures snap directly to these implants.
Despite the fact that this type of denture is removable, overdentures are different from traditional dentures that fit snugly on the gums and are held in place by friction and dental glue. Overdentures are more stable and durable than traditional dentures because they are firmly attached to the denture. However, it is not as durable or strong as a fixed implant support restoration.

3D print model

A three-dimensional (3D) printing model is a digitally designed model from advanced manufacturing techniques based on computer-aided design of personalized 3D objects. It has a wide range of functional areas and applications. In dentistry, its function can be expected in various fields of prosthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontology, and oral implantology.

3D printing currently practiced in dentistry includes powder bed melting, photopolymerization modeling, and melt deposition modeling. 3D printing metrics are influenced by several factors, such as mechanical properties and accuracy. Advances in 3D printing materials have a good future for presenting trending markets in the field of dentistry.

Retainers

Retainers are custom-made devices provided after surgery or after removing the brace and are usually made of wire or clear plastic to hold the teeth together. After using the brace and all the teeth are aligned, you may loosen a little if you stop using the brace. This can be out of alignment again. Therefore, retainers are used to hold teeth of a certain length in the new position. Hold time.

How long do I need to wear a retainer? Well, the answer may depend on the type of tooth. It should be worn daily and at night, and when worn at night it will decrease over time.

Temporaries & Diagnostic wax-up

Temporary and diagnostic wax-ups are highly skeptical dental procedures, but they are important tools for dentists and orthodontists when performing cosmetic diagnostic wax-up dental treatments and dental implants. The procedure is performed using the cast so that the actual tooth shape is constructed. When the dentition is formed into a wax figure, a diagnostic wax figure is prescribed.

This will help you get a better evaluation of your treatment and continue your treatment. This is a highly recommended procedure for aesthetic dentistry.
